I was carrying around 3 bags. Yes, 3 between my son and myself. I had my purse, his diaper bag and a cooler tote. It was crazy! I HATED going anywhere because it was just a mess. NO organization at all and that drove me absolutely insane.
I had been on the look for a new diaper bag so I could hopefully go from 3 bags to 1. I knew it had to be very large, have some sort of organization to it, aka lots of pockets, and it had to look like a purse. I don't care for regular diaper bags.
I searched for weeks! I bought a Dooney & Bourke bag online but found it was not going to work at all. I started looking again right away. Eventually almost 2 months later I found this bag.
I have totally fallen in love with my bag. I have gone from carrying 3 bags every day to just 1 bag with my clutch inside in case I have to leave my diaper bag with my husband or caregiver.
I use cloth diapers and there is so much more stuff I carry than when I used disposable diapers. Keep in mind when you use disposables you are throwing away the diapers and when you use cloth you have to put them in a special bag (aka wetbag) to take home and wash later. So, really everything that is in my bag stays in my bag at all times and there is no "making room" for more later.
The construction of this bag is very sturdy. I will have to weigh my bag, but I am pretty sure it weighs between 15-20#'s stuffed. I keep 2 cups in each of the inside cup pockets, 3 cloth diapers, wipes, a makeup bag, camera, cell phone, clutch, wetbag, change of clothes, toothbrush and toothpaste for ds, snacks and many times my husbands wallet, random stuff my kids give me and many times an extra water bottle. I can zip it up when I finish. Now, I am peculiar about how I pack my bag and am anal about it staying that way.
In my opinion this bag was well worth it's price I paid of $79.00. Take into account the money all of the other 3 bags combined cost they were more than this 1 bag by itself. Even after I am done using it for a diaper bag, it is still fashionable enough to use as a regular purse.
I highly recommend this bag to anyone who is looking for something fashion forward, functionable, organized and rather large in size.
